India win ODI series in West Indies
Team India achieved their second ever ODI series triumph in the West Indies when the emerged victors with a margin of 2-1. The final ODI was rained out and it denied the chance for the hosts to equalize the series. One has to say that the rain gods favored Indians. After the first two matches, the series was tied 1-1 and in the third match rain denied a complete 50 over match and India won the truncated match, thanks to the heroics of skipper Dhoni. And again in the final ODI rain played spoilsport and deprived the fans of some entertainment. But Team India have to be complimented for the way they had responded after their poor show in the world T20 and they were also devoid of some star names like Zaheer, Sachin and Sehwag. The players who were called in for this series responded in style and it made this made things a little easier for the skipper Dhoni. Abhishek Nayar made his debut in the third ODI. Overall it was a satisfactory show from the team. Hats off guys…
