Barcelona win Champions league 2009

Everyone touted this as a dream final as it was pitting two clubs who arguably play the most attractive brand of football. And in the end it was the Catalan giants Barcelona who won the Champions League final against Manchester United in Rome denying the English Champions a chance to become the first team ever to defend the trophy. It was a pulsating encounter which saw the English club start off strongly but the Spanish champions scored with their very first attempt. And from there on it was all Barcelona. The midfield of United was caught napping against the likes of Xavi and Iniesta. They never recovered from there on with Barcelona having a control of the proceedings. Messi killed off the contest when scored off a header in the second half giving Barcelona their third title of the season, a clean sweep. Well done Barca!!!!

Manchester United win a hatrick of EPL titles

English powerhouse Manchester United once again emerged on the top of the English Premier League for the third time in a row. It was their 11^th Premier League title and 18^th overall. This title meant Manchester United have now joined Liverpool who were sitting on the top with 18 titles. It was a strange season for the Champions as they got off to an indifferent start dropping points at the very start and that allowed Liverpool to break away and open up a sizable lead. And the revival of United started after the defeat to Arsenal. The defense of the Red Devils started this with a string of clean sheets and they ended up winning all those matches and went ahead of Liverpool. In that period they had also another title to their cabinet when they returned from Japan with the FIFA Club World cup trophy. And after that they opened up a comfortable lead only to slip up and offer a life line to the chasing pack. But they improved their form and never let the lead slip and wrapped up the title in the penultimate week in front of their home crowd.

Time Division Switching

In a single stage space division networks, a cross point-switching element is used to establish a specific connection between two subscribers. In space division networks, a conversation could be established via any one of the many alternative paths. In other words, a cross point is usable for establishing more than one connection. It is sharable among many subscribers. This sharing leads to a reduction in the number of switching elements required in the network. A switching element, once allotted, remains dedicated to a connection for its entire duration. As a result, sharing of a cross point occurs from one connection to the next. 

At a time, a cross point is required because continuous analog speech waveform is passed through the switch in space division switching. Switching element can be shared by a number of simultaneously active speech circuits. This is the principle of time division switching. Obviously, with the way the switching elements are shared in time division switching, much greater savings can be achieved in the number of switching elements when compared to multistage space division switching.

Tough Time

The Kolkata Knight Riders lost their match against Team Bangalore continuing their horrible run in the tournament. The team has their hands full with the fake blogger issue and on field performances. Bowlers Have Something To Say

Players like Asnodkar, Uthappa and McCullum, who had a great time in season 1, are finding the going really difficult in these kinds of pitches. Considering these, one has to say that it's a great opportunity for the younger Indian players to play on these kinds of wickets as it would help them in a great deal going forward. And this IPL has also shown that if you have a good technique you can play anywhere and in any format of the game. And bowlers have had a far more success than they had last year. And the spinners have been playing a bigger role in most of the matches.

Players like Murali and Vettori are having a huge say in this edition of the IPL and captains have even started to open the bowling with spinners. With the wickets getting slower and slower we might see spinners dominating the later stages of the tournament also.

Bowlers Dominate This Edition

Surprisingly, the T20 theory is changing. Not only in India, almost all the teams in the world thought t20 was youngsters game and categorically omitted the seniors, oldies and obese cricketers. Even the seniors like Sachin, Dravid and Kumble thought that there was no place for them and opted out of the t20 world cup last year.

This IPL2 at South Africa has proved that totally wrong. In the matches completed so far, except for few youngsters, only the older players have been dominating. So what might be the reason for this? This time the IPL is being played in SA and not in India. The pitches here are different to those in India. And at this time of the year, when the domestic season is over in South Africa, the pitches have got worn out thus making it quite difficult for the players to play their shots. And these are pitches that require a batsman to have a good technique and you just can get away having poor technique.

Same Price

The Tamil Nadu co-operative Milk Producers Federation, which sells milk and milk products under the brand name Aavin has informed that there was no change in the retail price of Aavin milk and people can register complaints against those selling at higher rates. This announcement comes as a big relief to the common man who has just started to recover from the inflation. In Chennai alone, the federation sells about 10.45 lakh litres of milk everyday through retailers and wholesalers. They also sell milk directly to cardholders.

The increase in the price of milk would really affect the people as milk is something they need to buy on a daily basis and its increase would mean many families would be struggling to make their ends meet.

Seniors Rule The Roost

Many of us think that twenty20 cricket is a young man's game. But it is not to be. When you take a broad look over the ongoing Indian Premier League, it's been the senior players who have played a key role in winning the matches for the teams. Team Chennai has been powered on by the retired Matthew Hayden while Kumble and Kallis have been doing a fine job for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sachin and Sanath have also played key roles in the matches Mumbai have won.

Rahul Dravid has also been a standout performer in this edition of the Indian Premier League. Sachin Tendulkar rubbished the talk of twenty20 being a young man's game saying it was a cricketer's game. And having a look on how the seniors are playing, one has to agree with the master.

Barcelona - Manchester United in finals

One has to say it was a dream to have these two finals. Barcelona and Manchester United are probably the two best football sides in the world. This is not in terms of the results or the trophies; this is with reference to the quality of football they produce. And if we have a look at both the sides, there is so much talent that you can't afford to miss the finals of the Champions League.

The defending champions Manchester United are on a mission and they can create history if they can retain the title as no team has ever successfully defended UEFA Champions League. And they can round off a great season were they have already won the FA Community shield, Carling cup and FIFA club world cup. They are on course to retain their Premier League title and winning the Champions League would cap off a fantastic season for the Red Devils.

Chapter 3

I went to college along with my dad to see the college. We went a couple of day’s earlier than the college opening date. And we were standing just opposite to the college and when I asked an auto driver if there was any college here, he simply there was no college with that name. I was shocked as my aunt had just dropped just and left saying that this was the location of the college. Thankfully one gentleman said there indeed was an engineering college there and pointed us the entrance of my college.

As soon as I entered, I had the biggest shock of my life. The first building had the name board of the college and that building was too small to have a name board of a college and that too in the center of the city. I was in total disbelief. For a second I had lost the interest of going to college and there were so many things going through my mind.

Google Adsense

Many of us have started a blog and tried to create an adsense account for the same. And we have ended up Google rejecting our application. This is because Google has become more selective in the sites have it has ads in. And if you start a blog now, you cannot apply for adsense till its six months old. And if you apply before that, you will be rejected. Furthermore there are no guarantees that your site will be taken in after 6 months.

The best thing to do is to start a domain, have some really nice content in it and then apply for adsense. One of the most important aspects of adsense is that you need have high traffic for your site to earn, so this can be brought about only if we have a site with really good content.
